Last Monday, I passed the Microsoft 365 MS-101 exam, which was the last one I needed to obtain the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. I am really happy about this; it was a lot of hard work but, it was totally worth it!

To prepare for the exam I have used different resources such as training portals, online courses, and reading material. Below I will show you those resources and the time I dedicated to each of them.

Pluralsight courses

Another source that you can use to reinforce the concepts is to take the Pluralsight courses, in special the following courses:

  • Implementing Mobile Device Management for Microsoft 365 (49m)
  • Planning and Managing Device and Application Compliance in Microsoft 365 (57m)
  • Implementing Cloud App Security in Microsoft 365 (44m)
  • Planning for Microsoft 365 Windows 10 Deployment (48m)
  • Implementing and Monitoring Threat Management in Microsoft 365 (1h 12m)
  • Designing, Managing, and Implementing Data Protection for Microsoft 365 (1h 14m)
  • Configuring, Managing, and Monitoring Microsoft 365 Data (1h 8m)
  • Implementing and Monitoring Threat Management in Microsoft 365 (1h 12m)
  • Implementing and Managing Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (1h 33m)
  • Protecting Devices and Applications in Microsoft 365 (1h 50m)

Microsoft Press – eBook

As for reading material, I have used the official book of the exam: Exam Ref MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security.

My Tips

  • Take your time to cover all the topics included in the exam.
  • Open a Microsoft 365 trial account and try out, research the capabilities of the different technologies. If you have the official book, do the exercises, and check your knowledge.

I hope this information will be useful.
